Beam Console Table

The top of this console table is made from vintage Indonesian teak beams that have been hand polished and waxed. The wood surface is smooth to the touch but the beams are full of nail holes, cracks and character. Each beam was selected to highlight its “flaws.” A small area in the wood is glassed in to create a display box. The base is made from blackened scrap steel that has been waxed to seal in the oxidation. Smart, sophisticated...rustic. Custom sizes up to 18' are available.
