indo-portuguese rosewood bookcase

Portuguese colonial cabinet from the west coast of India with heavy frette work carving. The cabinet has two glass doors above two larger open carved doors. The inside of the cabinet has two adjustable shelves. Sides of cabinet are carved in a typical sunburst pattern, common to Portuguese cabinets of this period. Cabinet rests on carved ball feet.
